On the one hand, the printers of the TM-J7000er series take in ­single-­sheet records as e.g. prescriptions, receipts, etc. up to a size of 68x230 mm. On the other hand, they print vouchers up to a width of 82,5 mm by using the ink jet procedure. They fit perfectly the conditions for use in pharmacies and other trade areas in which the print of records, as well as the print of cash register vouchers is required. The monochromatic variation TM-J7000 produces two different kinds of records: standard paper vouchers as a customary voucher printer and external records, such as receipts and prescriptions that are being taken in and printed on the front side. A fast printing procedure of up to 43mm per second. and the low-noise ink jet procedure guarantee a pleasant working environment and satisfied customers. Due to the patented Epson SEA-Jet procedure, the records are being produc­ed almost soundlessly. The ink, which has been specially developed for the POS area, dries already during the production of the record and is immediately absolutely water-repellent and ineffaceable: Even if the records get wet, the ink does not blur. The print-out lasts for years and is high-contrast. The voluminous ink cartridge at the TM-J7000 makes a cartridge exchange necessary only after a maximum of 20 million signs. This corres­ponds more or less to the capacity of 6 colour ribbons in the dot matrix procedure. Long printing without interruption and extreme low running costs (TCO) are the positive effect of the ink jet technology. The TM-J7000/7100er series disposes of a connection for two till drawers and the simple »drop-in« paper handling. The voucher roll width can be set variably in four different sizes (57.5; 69.5; 76.0 and 82.5mm).
